Hi, I am getting a failure to save title error on DVD rip - Spooks Series 4, disk 2, episode 3.
I have tried creating the mkv straight from the DVD and also copying the disk contents to HDD first, fails both times. All other episodes are fine, including the other title on the same disk.

This is a disc mastering error. The full log file ( C:\Users\Dan/MakeMKV_log.txt ) should contain a lot of additional debug strings - please send it to support@makemkv.com and we'll add a workaround. There's nothing else you can do unfortunately.

Email sent. What is a mastering error? Will the workaround allow me to rip the remaining episode?

It means when the disc was produced they incorrectly followed the DVD specification.

@mike admin - Have you an idea of when this workaround will be available?

Hi, not sure if this workaround was included in v 1.6.6 but if so it has not worked.
