I need to rip a DVD for a Spanish Class. The DVD defaults to English. If I go into MakeMKV Preferences then Language, there are two options: Interface Language and Preferred Language. Does anyone know which one to designate as Spanish for the main film and then English for the subtitles? Thank you.

Do not set "preferred language". It will limit what you see to what the language is TAGGED, but that is not necessarily what it will actually BE.
