TILT - The Battle to Save Pinball - Unable to Open .iso

Post by BabaJallow »

There is a documentary named TILT: The Battle to Save Pinball. From their website (http://www.tilt-movie.com/), they point you to a site to download an .iso of the movie (https://archive.org/download/TILTTheBattleToSavePinball).

I've downloaded the .iso and it plays in VLC. However, I can't open it in makemkv. The error shows:

Code: Select all

Using direct disc access mode
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #0 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #1 does not match one in IFO header.
Titleset start sector mismatch for titleset 1 : 4294171010 != 71
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #2 does not match one in IFO header.
Titleset start sector mismatch for titleset 2 : 4294170989 != 1818946
Title #1 (0:59:48) was skipped due to navigation error
Failed to open disc
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I could do to fix the error? Thank you!

I was able to convert the .iso to .mkv using a tool called MKVToolNix. Here are the steps I followed:

1. In Windows File Explorer, right-click on the .iso file and select Mount.
2. In MKVToolNix, click Add source files. Go to the drive Windows mounted the .iso to, select VTS_01_1 and click the Open button.
3. In the Destination File field, specify where to save the .mkv file to (and give the file a name).
4. Click the Start Multiplexing button.

This generated the .mkv file for me. Hopefully, this helps someone else :)
