Just ripped a bunch of USA region DVDs. Output mkv is 480i. I need them to be 480p in order for Nvidia Shield 2019 to use AI upscale to 4k.
Is this an option in Makemkv?
Is this possible via another app?

DVDs are interlaced, and MakeMKV copies the video as-is into the MKV file.

Removing interlacing isn't simple. Handbrake does a pretty good job if you select one of the DVD-oriented presets, but sometimes you have to force its hand a bit.
