Working on backing up my copies of Smallville, barely made it into season 1 and when I get to disc 3 it only loads 2 of the episodes and a marathon play option for those 2 as playlists. The disc is supposed to have a total of 4 episodes on it...anyone know what's going on?

Sorry, I'm pretty new to using the program, is this the info you mean?

Using direct disc access mode
Title #1 was added (12 cell(s), 1:28:03)
Title #2 was added (1 cell(s), 0:00:11)
Cells 8-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Title #3 was added (6 cell(s), 0:44:04)
Cells 8-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Title #4 was added (6 cell(s), 0:43:59)
Subtitle stream #4 is identical to stream #3 and was skipped
Subtitle stream #5 is identical to stream #3 and was skipped
Subtitle stream #6 is identical to stream #3 and was skipped
Operation successfully completed

That's all that appears after I open the disc

Did you rip the three titles?

A common setup is to put two-part episodes into a single episode, which would account for 4 episodes. Not being familiar with the series, though, I can't say whether there were any multi-part stories...

I did rip all 3, when it finished up I had 3 files, but I ended up with episodes 9 and 10. And a file of 9+10 together.

Take the log and the IFO files, as listed in the FAQ in my signature, and send them to support@makemkv.com so that Mike can look at them, please.

Interesting... I had no problems with this series way back when, and I have no problems with it now. I just loaded Season 1 Disc 3 quickly to check - on the system I checked it, I currently have an old version 1.14.2 installed (given the current issues with 1.15.2, it might be nice for MakeMKV to have standalone distributions to make it easier to switch between versions) - and all 4 episodes load correctly.

I have the original 2003 North America digipak release of this. If you have a later re-release it's possible the discs have changed, and also the discs would be different in other regions. So it's always helpful to post disc info as well in your thread, so that anyone looking to help can compare the exact same release:
Disc Information
Label: SMALLVILLE_SEASON_1_DISC_3
Timestamp: 2003-07-07 19:48:25
Data capacity: 7.17 Gb
Disc type: DVD-ROM
Disc size: 120mm
Maximum read rate: 10.08 Mbps [1x]
Number of layers: 2 (OTP)
Using direct disc access mode
Title #1 was added (24 cell(s), 2:55:16)
Title #2 was added (1 cell(s), 0:00:11)
Cells 8-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Title #3 was added (6 cell(s), 0:44:04)
Cells 8-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Title #4 was added (6 cell(s), 0:43:59)
Cells 8-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Title #5 was added (6 cell(s), 0:44:12)

Title #8 was added (1 cell(s), 0:00:07)

You need only install them in different directories... I have five different versions installed right now. They will share a common data directory, but they are otherwise stand-alone.
