"The Meaning of Life" unable to extract extended version to single title.

I'm trying to extract the extended version of "The Meaning of Life" from the "Almost Everything Ever..." box set.
Selecting the option to open the disk manually shows the titles I expect:
Title information
1: 1/1 - 1 chapter(s) 0:00:00 1 cell(s)
2: 1/2 - 25 chapter(s) 1:35:51 31 cell(s)
3: 1/3 - 25 chapter(s) 1:26:47 29 cell(s)
4: 1/4 - 2 chapter(s) 0:15:51 2 cell(s)
5: 1/5 - 2 chapter(s) 0:15:51 2 cell(s)
6: 2/1 - 1 chapter(s) 0:00:00 1 cell(s)
7: 3/1 - 2 chapter(s) 0:00:20 2 cell(s)
8: 4/1 - 2 chapter(s) 0:01:10 2 cell(s)
However, when I open the disc instead of getting a getting a single title for #2 with 31 cells, I get seven separate titles.
Open DVD manually : "8 4 3 2"
Title #8 was added (1 cell(s), 0:01:10)
Title #4 was added (1 cell(s), 0:15:51)
Title #3 was added (28 cell(s), 1:26:32)
Title #2 was added (5 cell(s), 0:17:02)
Title #2/0/1 was added (1 cell(s), 0:03:54)
Title #2/0/2 was added (6 cell(s), 0:16:35)
Title #2/0/3 was added (1 cell(s), 0:00:48)
Title #2/0/4 was added (4 cell(s), 0:11:34)
Title #2/0/5 was added (1 cell(s), 0:04:59)
Title #2/0/6 was added (12 cell(s), 0:40:44)
Is there a manual title syntax for merging those ... er ... sub titles? (what the heck is the proper name for those?) or will I have to use something like MKVToolnix to assemble them into a single title afterward?
