Hi!

Does the original, commercial DVD play on the same system?

Setarip_old,

Thank you again for responding.

Indochine is a purchased, commercial standard DVD the plays perfectly on my computer running VLC Player. The log file follows and the zip of two IFO files is attached.

Thank you so much for the attention.

Setarip_old,

Now that I've discovered that C:\Users\Lindsey\MakeMKV_log.txt is revealed only on my MediaClient (Win 7 64-bit) system would you please tell me why Indochine (DVD) cannot be opened by MakeMKV? Here is MakeMKV_log.txt for Indochine:

I'm afraid I lack the knowledge to interpret the "Debug logs".

I'm sure that "mike admin" will get to it...

For some reasons zip file can't be downloaded. Could you please send it to support@makemkv.com ?

Mike Admin,

The zip of Indochine is attached.

Would you also please tell me why when I run MakeMKV on my 3800Client (Vista 64-bit) system the file MakeMKV_log.txt does not appear, anywhere. But when I do the same on my MediaClient (Win 7 64-bit) system it does appear in C:Users\Lindsey?

Thanks.

Sterling Lindsey

Setarip_old,

MakeMKV 1.6.0 will rip DVD Indochine, mostly - HURRAH!. The front end of the DVD, including the 'Choices screen' is chopped off when the MKV is played using VLC 1.1.4. This is compared to playing the disc itself with PowerDVD 9 Ultra. The good news is that DVD Indochine was mostly ripped whereas the previous version produced nothing because it couldn't open the disc. The log file is the first attachment and the snip of collection of rip files is the second attachment.
