I bought the Benny Hill megaset and disc 17 was giving me errors and nothing I did seem to work. I then decided to exchange the set in for a new set thinking the disc was bad and I'm still getting errors on the new disc at the exact same spot on the disc. I have also tried dvdfab and clonedvd with no success.

In general, errors like this mean that the drive itself has gone off-line:

Is it an internal or external drive? If it is external, make sure it has good power to it. A lot of USB powered drives do not get enough power to run at full speed if they aren't plugged into a powered USB hub, or into the computer itself.

It is rare for internal drives to have that kind of issue, but they can have other issues....

Thanks for your response. It is an external hard drive plug into the computer with about 1 ft' usb cable. It strange because i wasy able to copy every episode except one and it had the same problem on both discs at the same spot. I tried to copy it on another computer with an internal hdd and it worked just fine. All is good now! Thanks for your help.
