mkv-length too short against original Video

Post by Santa » Thu May 21, 2015 6:47 am

Hi there,

I've encountered an issue by ripping a Disc with 3 Episodes of a TV Show.
The Issue is that one of the mkv-files is too short in it's length though the Episode on the DVD itself is correct.

The length of the Episode is about 44 minutes (time displayed in VLC Player).
The length of the mkv-file after ripping is only 34,24 minutes (time displayed in VLC Player).

how can I get the whole length ripped?

Thanks, Santa

There is a way to tell MakeMKV to manually select things:

http://www.makemkv.com/manualdvd/

But the first step is to follow the instructions in the FAQ linked in my signature, so that Mike can make any needed corrections to MakeMKV. When I had this issue a few weeks ago (different disk), Mike gave me the parameters to enter into the manual window to get the proper episodes files built.
