LittleEinsteins DVDs 2010 -- skipped due to navigation error

Post by wowo4usa » Fri Nov 30, 2012 4:42 pm

To all Little Einsteins DVDs produced after 2010.
Title #18 (0:24:08) was skipped due to navigation error

I'm ripping little einsteins, 3 of 5 discs get me this error, the other 2 are passthrou. What i found are:
1, the 3 not working discs are produced after 2010, while the working 2 discs are made in 2006.
2, each disc has 3(or 4) individual episodes, which around 24min each, and stored in 3 individual files. makemkv can extract all other titles but these 3 main titles, due to the error above.
3, none of these discs have reading problem, no scratch or anything, they are brand new.
4,by using HADNBREAK, it could extract over 20 titles all between 22~27min. By compare video length, I can identify 3(or4) main episodes' file in HANDBREAK, however once extract them out, the final clip is scrambled like this http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2698/404 ... 6223_o.png
5, PC hardware and software are all good, discs can be played on this PC, and this PC can rip other DVDs including LittleEinsteins that made in 2006 and earlier.

Log: portion that I believe is the problem
Title #2/16 has length of 72 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped
DEBUG: Code 0 at ,>S6,).JA_v<6VJa:213138885
DEBUG: Code 0 at ),c?IH!R+Gs{Ne},9n:29394597
CellWalk algorithm failed (structure protection is too tough?), trying CellTrim algorithm
CellTrim algorithm failed since title has only 2 chapters
DEBUG: Code 0 at ),c?IH!R+Gs{Ne},9n:121272767

Title #18 (0:24:08) was skipped due to navigation error
Cells 3-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Title #19 was added (2 cell(s), 0:04:39)
Cells 5-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Title #19/0/1 was added (2 cell(s), 0:04:52)
Cells 7-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Title #19/0/2 was added (2 cell(s), 0:05:10)
Cells 9-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Title #19/0/3 was added (2 cell(s), 0:06:32)
Cells 14-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Title #19/0/4 was added (4 cell(s), 0:02:46)

Title #22/1 has length of 71 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped

There are another 3 lines as red line:

Title #33 (0:24:08) was skipped due to navigation error
Title #47 (0:24:08) was skipped due to navigation error
Title #60 (0:24:08) was skipped due to navigation error

These are 4 sub video episodes that this DVD contains, each of them are 24:08 min, and they are all skipped.

Since it says "algorithm failed", does that mean decryption issue? Should I use passkey or DVD43 kind of program in advance?? :?: Or "algorithm failed (structure protection is too tough?) "

more info, it's MakeMKV v1.7.9 win(x86-release)
And I found other threads that have same issue, months ago, and/or in older version, are those solved? how?

:) solved, it's decryption issue. hope next version has enough build-in decryption features.

solved, it's decryption issue.
And if not MakeMKV, what software and procedures did you use to overcome this decryption?
