Title fails on When They Cry disk 3

Post by lonewolf » Mon Apr 09, 2012 5:51 am

I can't extract one title from the 3rd disk, but can play it in an external DVD player (it does distort when playing for a few seconds, but does continue on)

I can rip entire the disk fine to HDD with DVD Decrypter with no disk errors reported, but MakeMKV can't extract title 7 from the original disk or the ripped copy.

Code: Select all

MakeMKV v1.7.3 linux(x64-release) started
Debug logging enabled, log will be saved as /home/user/MakeMKV_log.txt
Using direct disc access mode
Title #0 has length of 1 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 59 seconds and was therefore skipped
Title #1 was added (3 cell(s), 0:03:21)
Title #2 was added (3 cell(s), 0:01:40)
Title #3 was added (3 cell(s), 0:01:40)
Title #4 was added (2 cell(s), 0:01:25)
Title #5 was added (2 cell(s), 0:01:26)
Title #6 was added (32 cell(s), 1:53:46)
Title #7 was added (7 cell(s), 0:23:09)
Title #8 was added (7 cell(s), 0:23:07)
Title #9 was added (8 cell(s), 0:23:09)
Title #10 was added (7 cell(s), 0:23:09)
Title #11 was added (7 cell(s), 0:23:08)
Region setting of drive ATAPI:iHES208 2 does not match the region of currently inserted disc, trying to work around...

This is a disc mastering error. Your log file contains all necessary information, workaround will be added shortly.
