I'm having a hard time ripping Series One of Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights - although I seem to be having a lot of problems recently and I'm starting to wonder if my LG drive is wearing out. Here's the error readout:

I've read through the forum and note that at least one of these errors can result from a problem with the power on an external USB drive. This is an internal drive, an LG BH12NS30, that still works on other discs, although I've had a lot of problems recently.

The drive is old, as is the firmware; I don't suppose there's any newer custom firmware or anything I can try?
