I have the above mentioned disc bought brand new and is pristine in condition. When trying to rip the copy in, makemkv just fails. What I mean is there is no read errors listed, just the failure. So, I turned on the debug log and saw the below as the last listed error message before it exits.

I have created a backup iso from the disc and am able to replicate the exact same issue pulling from the iso. I am able to work around the issue (somewhat) by performing a stream-dump via mpv. This does work, but of course, no subtitles, multiple languages or chapters. I get a raw mpeg which I then convert to mkv with ffmpeg and gen timestamp information. Anyway, the point is that the disc is readable and watchable, but not rippable via makemkv.
I also wanted to mention that I did attempt to utilize all 4 four structure protection removal methods as well (auto, celltrim, cellwalk, and cellfull). I also attempted multiple drives (LG16NS60, Pioneer BDR-XD08U).
Any assistance I can provide, please let me know.
