I ran it with AnyDVD because of the RPC Error... Same result!

The list of titles and times reflects a total time of more than 3 hours. Is this an original, commercial DVD or something else?

1) The usual default minimum title length is 120 seconds (2 minutes). Why is yours set to 6,780 seconds (1 hour and 53 minutes)?

2) What is the nature of Title 4 (1 hour 1 minute and 17 seconds) that was skipped?

3) What version number of MakeMKV are you using?

4) Have you successfully used any version of MakeMKV to create .MKVs from DVDs?

This is a Region 1 Retail DVD

1) The usual default minimum title length is 120 seconds (2 minutes). Why is yours set to 6,780 seconds (1 hour and 53 minutes)?

I didn't change those settings but I am using MakeMKV with Auto Rip n Compress... Suppose that is why such a long minmum duration, to be sure to select only the main feature

2) What is the nature of Title 4 (1 hour 1 minute and 17 seconds) that was skipped?

This may very well be the title I "should" be ripping from the disk

3) What version number of MakeMKV are you using?

I am using version 1.6.0

4) Have you successfully used any version of MakeMKV to create .MKVs from DVDs?

I have been using MakeMKV as a stand alon application for a few months for both DVD and Blu-ray.

Also, I have reverted back to 1.5.8 and the few discs I was having problems with have been ripped successfully save for Bruce Almighty which I believe is a physical problem with the media.


Thanks for the insight though, I guess I should have actually read the log before posting it!

After actually reading the log I see that Title #0 is the main feature and was recognised by MakeMKV and that there was a read failure later on while attempting to actually rip the title. I have successfully ripped this disk with MakeMKV 1.5.8!
