makemkv not showing tracks that

I use makemkv 1.14.2 on Linux.

I have here the scandinavian DVD issue of Asterix The Mansions of the Gods. It has a trick title inventory but vlc shows that I want title 56. VLC and lsdvd and makemkv shows the same number of tracks/titles

This is in the log of makemkv:

Cells 8-8 were removed from title end
Title #56 was added (6 cell(s), 1:21:56)
Title #58 has length of 10 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped

The playback length agrees with VLC.

lsdvd shows:

Title: 56, Length: 01:22:00.040 Chapters: 07, Cells: 08, Audio streams: 05, Subpictures: 00
Title: 57, Length: 00:00:00.400 Chapters: 01, Cells: 01, Audio streams: 05, Subpictures: 00

Makemkv shows "title_t04" with source title ID 49 and then "title_t05" with source title ID 91.

Why does makemkv seem to add title 56 to the title list and then not show it in the gui to select?

There seems to be one or two older posts with a similar theme, but no resolution.
