Weird image artefacts ripping CTHD

Using all default settings, havent touched a thing in the settings etc. Never had an issue like this one with MakeMKV before and I ve ripped my whole dvd/bluray collection up until this disc.

What are you playing the MKV with? The images look like what you get when you play a VC1-Interlaced video on a player that doesn't "do" VC1i, but that should not happen on a DVD source (VC1i is BD only, as far as I know).

Latest VLC as well as MPC-BE. Same result in both players. Also, playing/opening the DVD directly in either of the players renders the same result.
