Have found that I cannot copy these DVDs:
RED2 - per this forum, there is a mastering issue?? No way around this I guess?
Star Wars Phantom Menace
Tried on 3 different computers, with different drives and almost always get scsi read errors. Disks are in good shape and play fine in the dvd player. Pretty new to Makemkv, so any advice will be well received.

Re: Not able to copy RED2 or Phantom Menace DVDs
RED2 has lots of fake files on it, but you usually don't get SCSI errors. And many people have ripped the disk, so it isn't a general MakeMKV issue, aside from finding out which title is NOT fake on the particular version of the disk you bought.
Without seeing the debug log information, it's hard to guess at what you're encountering.
Phantom Menace doesn't use playlist obfuscation like RED2. I don't have the DVD version, just the BD, so I can only say MakeMKV handles the BD just fine.
If you haven't read it already, see this topic in the bluray section: If you're experiencing rip errors, please read here first!
It applies to all disk types, not just BDs.
