The preview titles and short title were opened and available to make into MKV's but the main movie (Finding Dory) was skipped. The line reads:
Title #1 (1:36:56) was skipped due to navigation error
I have tried ejecting the disc and starting over three times- with the same result every time.
It is a brand-new disc. Just opened and never played on a DVD player.
Is there any way around the navigation error so I can put this on my external hard drive??
Finding Dory- navigation error
Re: Finding Dory- navigation error
"New disk" - have you cleaned it yet? New disks aren't necessarily clean disks. Especially if the packaging has sucker marks visible on it, like this one I received yesterday:
The chemicals those sucker marks are formed in have a tendency to migrate to the disks, and can interfere with the laser. However, a damp, soft cloth (cotton or microfiber) will usually clean it off.
Others have ripped Finding Dory without issue, so this is most likely a disk issue.
