Katatonia - The Great Cold Distance, 5.1 Mix Special Edition

Post by Schmengland » Thu Jun 09, 2016 6:23 am

MakeMKV fails to copy this properly. Instead of a roughly 51-minute MKV and its contents, output is a 2MB MKV with no audio or anything else substantial. Playing the file causes a bunch of still images from the DVD menu to flash across the screen before stopping two seconds later.

During the process, MakeMKV never seemed to get past the "Analyzing seamless segments..." stage, staying there until the whole process "completed".

Catalog #: CDVILEF176X

Any thoughts?

Need more info. What you have so far seems that you chose the wrong file to convert, but without the log (see the FAQ in my signature), it's impossible to tell.

Unfortunately, when you emailed the information, it went just to Mike, so you'll have to wait until he comments.

If you want to copy/paste the log in a message here (not as an attachment, but please put it inside "code" tags so that it is a bit easier to read), more of us can comment on what we see. While Mike knows the program inside and out (he's the author), a number of us "regulars" have seen what causes many common errors.
