Hi all and happy new year!
I have installed MakeMKV 1.9.8 on Windows 7 64 bit, and tried to rip some DVDs of mine: I wanted to make a full backup, but the option is always greyed out.
"Open DVD Disc" instead works. I tried with several DVDs, and, with some of them, I get an "illegal request" error.
I have an Asus N76VZ notebook with an internal Matshita blu-ray writer.
The odd thing is that, if I insert a blu-ray, I can make a full copy, the option is not greyed out. In the log, there are no information.
I attach a screenshot:
By the way, I also tried with my USB external blu-ray writer, Samsung SE-506AB, and got the same exact problem.
I just can't figure out what the problems is.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

There is no problem.
Full decrypted backup is a Blu-Ray "only" feature.
