Hunger Games Catching Fire DVD

I searched and I see a lot of comments about the BD for this but nothing about the DVD.

Lots of issues using 1.8.8 if anyone cares - and before everyone chimes in with "hardware issues" or "bad disc", I ripped a number of other DVDs before and after this one on the same amchine - all recent releases, new in the box wihtout issue.
Used dd_rescue extract the data from the disc for manula processing and also used MakeMKV for linux to get what you see in the log.

Log shortened to keep from creating a billboard in the forum....
If the log will help anyone let me know and I'll make it available along with the debug information.

That's the hardware telling MakeMKV that it can't read at least two spots on the disk. No version of MakeMKV can recover from that. dd_rescue might not care about bad sectors, but MakeMKV does.

Obvious first step is cleaning the disk, although if it really is "fresh from the package", a defective pressing is a possibility. I always keep wax handy, though, even for "perfect" looking disks, because minor scratches can be a PITA.

I'm getting the exact same error with "Now You See Me" and this is the second one I've tried

Nevermind. I think track 14 was the answer for me. MKE v1.16.5
