ISO files
I just received a copy of Jesse Stone DVD's. There are 9 dvds and all seem to be iso files. How do I extract just the movie and write it to a hard drive as a MKV file. If I copy the ISO file how do I open it on a PC and watch the movie?

Re: ISO files
Two methods for ripping the files:
1) Either mount the ISO file as a virtual drive and open that drive using MakeMKV; or probably easier
2) Within MakeMKV, click on the "Open files" icon and navigate to the folder containing the ISO file, then open it.
Either method should scan the "disc" contents and then give you the setup screen. Complete the setup, choose a target directory and click the big green arrow button on the right to save the .mkv files.
If you want to watch the ISO files without ripping: Open your player of choice (I use VLC Media Player), click on "Media" then "Open disc" and browse to the ISO file. It should then open the disc as if it were in the optical drive, menus and all (if they were there to begin with).
