I have a DVD - Captain from Castile - that MakeMKV consistently fails to read. I am using a Mid 2015 MacBook Pro w/OS 12.6 and a Pioneer BDR-XS07U. I have been using the Pioneer drive without incident for the last 3 months.
MKV locks up at the same place no matter what I have tried. I have cleaned the disk; I have played the whole movie with the Apple DVD player app, I update JRE. Not sure what to try next.
The screen info:
MakeMKV v1.17.2 darwin(x64-release) started

I have attached the MKV Log as well.
Not sure what is failing at this point.

Re: DVD read fail: DEBUG: Code 0
DVD opening modes - CellWalk, CellTrim, CellFull
Rather than 'auto' (default), some have had luck selecting 'CellTrim' mode.
Preferences > Protection > DVD section pull-down
Worth a try?

Thanks, it worked.
