1.14.7 stuck on 'scanning'

Trying to scan/rip a screener DVD but when the program boots, it goes into initial scanning mode and just hangs here and never finishes. I've seen this before, wondering if anyone has solutions / settings I should be using?

It's a Screener DVD!! There are serval other threads with failed rips. No solution, this kind of discs are special.

TYVM for the reply. It is, indeed, a screener. Has anyone had success with ANYDVD or DVDFAB?
