MakeMkv crashes when trying to copy

Can you be more specific?

At what point in your attempted backup did it "crash"?
What, if any, specific error message appeared?
Is your commercial DVD recent;y purchased, or have you owned it since it was released in 2001? (Possible scratches, dirt, warping)

Have you used MakeMKV to successfully process other DVDs?

What version number of MakeMKV are you using?

I am using mkv version 1.5.8.

It happens during processing title. Info is:

MakeMKV v1.5.8 win(x86-release) started
Using direct disc access mode
Complex multiplex encountered - 27 cells and 19052 VOBUs have to be scanned. This may take some time, please be patient - it can't be avoided.
Title #0 was added (27 cell(s), 2:32:32)
Complex multiplex encountered - 2 cells and 2200 VOBUs have to be scanned. This may take some time, please be patient - it can't be avoided.
Title #1 was added (2 cell(s), 0:17:36)
Title #2 has length of 11 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 120 seconds and was therefore skipped

Then a popup stating the MakeMKV console is in error and needs to be terminated and di I want to send an errorreport to Microsoft.
When clicking no I get an MKV BETA Popup saying "Fatal Error occured, programm will now exit" and voila it exits.

I have played the DVD maybe 5-7 times. Other programs like AnyDVD, DVDFab and Power ISO accepts the disc and will create a working copy.

So I as curious to hear i anyone had seen this too?

Just tried again using version 1.6.0. It did'nt help - got the same error.

Crashes in the same manner for me, too. 1.6.15.

Your error is likely different. If MakeMKV crashes, please send the produced debug dump per instructions at http://www.makemkv.com/onlinehelp/dump.html

My copy of In the Flesh also fails to work. I will try it again and try to copy the pertinent files to here. Funny how some discs do this.....

I have the same problem with In The Flesh on 1.7.2. It doesn't say what region it is, but i assume it's 0. And it's PAL.

Then I have to ask you to do a lengthy step - please make a capture dump when it crashes per instructions at http://www.makemkv.com/onlinehelp/dump.html . Make sure that you use the latest MakeMKV version.
