Terminator2 Judgement Day failed to open disc

I came by a box of dvds when the local video store closed last fall. Among these was the Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition DVD, which I decided to rip when I recently obtained a shiny new 2tb hard drive. This disc likely has some unique mastering tricks going on, given that it apparently (yay, wikipedia) contains not only the theatrical version of the film, but two different versions of the special edition, totalling over six hours of video, but I've got no real way to break that down further because after giving a couple of 'complex multiplex encountered' and 'skipping title' error messages, it ends with 'Failed to open disc.'

Edit: Yeah, disc was irrecoverably scratched. Sorry to bother y'all.

Look for scratches or other physical damage to disc - particularly near outer edge or hub...
