Ripping DVD Issue

Just downloaded Makemkv on a M1 Imac. Blurays are backing up fine, but not DVD's. The disc is read and shows up in the program with the proper title, but cannot select the backup or save icons. Any thoughts? Help is very appreciated.

Backup is only available for BD/UHD. Backup was added for BD because there was no usable way to save a "whole disk experience" with BD at that time, while making an ISO of a DVD was widely available and supported.

You can only use Open (the big button that looks like a disk spinning) and Save as MKV for DVDs.
