Hey all, I'm trying to backup The Good Guys (2010) from DVD and I'm having a hell of a time getting it to load up into anything. MakeMKV isn't able to open the disk, VLC won't load it to convert or playback normally. I'm not even getting any logs to generate, all I get from MakeMKV is the following:

Anyone experience any similar issues with this or other shows/movies? When I open MakeMKV with any of the disks for the show, it just sits and tries to load, it'll spin in my drive for a fair bit, but then stop. I'm using an LG BP60NB10 with modified firmware, and have also tried on an LG SP80NB80 with the same results. Any help would be great, thanks!

You could try one of the different opening modes for DVDs.
