Turn off the CC when copying

Post by bkarlan »

I just made a copy of the Cannonball Run and while it works great, it has burned the Closed Captioning into the video with no way to turn it off. Is there way to either turn this off completely or to have the CC as an option. Either way is fine, but I don't want the CC showing all the time.

If it's actually burnt in then you can't turn it off. Also, MakeMKV does not touch the video.

Are you sure it's burned in and not subs? I am sure you are capable of knowing the difference, but I've never seen where burned in is removable. Avatar, COT...all have non-reomvable burned in. Except I do have an Avatar that someone else made and there are no burned in subs...they are gone.
