Star Wars Andor - Season 1 - Only finding first episode on each disk

I have a DVD set of Seasons 1 & 2 of Andor, and while MakeMKV is doing everything I expect with the Season 2 disks, I have come across a strange issue with the Season 1 disks. Basically, it goes through the check phase of the disk, but is only finding the first episode on each disk. For example, disk 1 has episodes 1, 2, 3 and 4, but only episode 1 is found. There are no error messages or warnings; it is as if the episodes are not on the disk. If I put the disk in a DVD player, everything is there and can be played.

Is there some way I can sort this so that all the episodes can be downloaded?

I am using MakeMKV 1.18.1 under Gentoo Linux on a desktop computer, and the drive is an ASUS DRW-24D5MT revision 2, with it's own firmware. To test, I also booted up a laptop with Omarchy (Arch) installed, then installed MakeMKV (also 1.18.1), and used a portable LG DVD drive. The result was exactly the same as above.

I have seen reference to "sending a download in" to help with decoding? If this is something I can do to help, please point me at the instructions as to how this should work!

The different DVD opening modes didn't give a different result.
Opening in manual mode gives the following messages

I think I need to study more about the configuration on the DVD - I am not sure if my structure string is correct. I chose my string based on this information in the "Open manually" dialog:

It does, however, feel like the issue is related to reading the disk. I am still open to ideas if you have any more (or anyone else has!).

Conventional wisdom is to recommend cleaning the disc gently, no matter how pristine it may appear to your eye. This may/may not help.

Another thing to try is loading an older version of MakeMKV (v1.6.7?, see sig for link). This may prove problematic if you don't have a permanent key. In that case, try setting system clock to v1.6.7 release date, 2022-02-27, before starting MakeMKV.
