Ok..I'm busy ripping and converting Curb Your Enthusiasm box set and all is going well until the Fourth Series. Each disk has 5 episodes...so 5 titles on each. But MakeMKV only sees and rips the first two on both discs. DVD Shrink sees all 5 episodes when I rip but again, when I convert with Make Mkv...it only does the same two. All other 6 series rip and copy in full.
EDIT: Every other program I try sees all 5 episodes on both disks...except Make MKV. The quality of other rips is not as good...so I'd really like to use Make Mkv for this disk if I could
Anyone else come across this sort of thing ?

Titles Missing from Rip/Convert
Re: Titles Missing from Rip/Convert
Bit more investigation. Turns out some programs don't actually see the episodes only the same two. Only one that does and can convert each episode is Handbrake. MakeMKV stubbornly refuses to see more that two files (episodes)
I was tempted to blame the DVD but that doesn't seem to be the case. Anyone have any ideas from MakeMKV ? Coding issue perhaps ?

Re: Titles Missing from Rip/Convert
What did you use to rip the DVD to begin with?
Have you tried ripping the disc directly with MakeMKV?

Re: Titles Missing from Rip/Convert
Yes I did...its my prefered method now as it is fast and produces great quality.
I've also tried ripping using DVD Shrink, DVDFab 8, DVD Decrypter and a couple of others. It rips OK but only MakeMKV fails to rip all the episodes. Having said that the only application that actually converts them all is Handbrake. As I said before the other 5 series in the boxset all rip and convert superbly with MakeMKV. This would seem to point to a an issue with the DVD and if this is the only one that MakeMKV can't cope with then I'm a happy bunny. I can always fall back on Handbrake.
Impossible to fix every single DVD that does this of course unless it becomes a regular issue with users.

Re: Titles Missing from Rip/Convert
With the original disc in the drive (NOT the pre-ripped folders on your hard drive) please do the following:
http://www.makemkv.com/faq/item/8
Explain in the email that only 2 of the episodes appear in MakeMKV, and there should be 5.
Make sure to attach the MakeMKV debug log, as well as the IFO files from the original disc.
