1.5.6 is a big improvement. It seems to have fixed all itles that caused MakeMKV to crash and a few others. None of the discs that still dont rip crash MakeMKV anymore.

A few more added although compatability is overall very good with current version.

Hi,

Is Die Hard 4.0 region 2 still a problem disc?

I am unable to rip it using an LG DVD drive.

Since the topic you're replying to is almost 9 years old, and covers version 1.5.6 (we're on 1.14.4 now), I'd say this topic is well beyond "obsolete".

If you're experiencing rip errors, please read here first!

I came to the thread via Google and am new to the forum so did not immediately notice how old the thread was.

Be that as it may, I am using version 1.14.4 and cannot successfully rip Die Hard 4.0, region 2 DVD.

I'll have a read of the thread you linked me to, thank you.

Same issues with the BD drive so it must be the disc itself.
