I am having an issue making a iso back up of Happy's Place Season 1 DVDs
On Disk 1 I am getting these errors and it appears to be stuck on Title id: MENU, Current Cell: 1:6/6 Current VOBU: 32690 and not much changing except the time remaining has grown from minutes to nearly two hours and counting.

Any advice or guidance?
I have tried it with 2 different drives

Have you tried ripping them with another backup tool yet?

I don’t know of what options exist? I’m a Mac user. Any suggestions?

Re: Happy's Place Season 1 DVDs
That honestly sounds like either a read error on the discs or some kind of copy protection tripping up the backup process. The fact that it’s hanging on the menu title and throwing UDF allocation errors makes me think the drive is struggling to read certain sectors, which could be from minor disc damage or intentional structure quirks. Since you’ve already tried two drives, I’d double-check the discs for scratches or smudges and maybe try a different ripping tool—some handle tricky DVDs better than others. Also, if both discs behave similarly, it might just be how they were authored rather than something on your end.

You could try MakeMKV's different opening modes for DVDs.
