I have a Mac operating on the Tahoe 26.1 OS. Lately it has been giving me the message- "failed to open disc" after the log shows it has decoded all the titles. Is there some setting I am missing? I tried on several discs that have worked before- getting the same message. I know the DVD player is working- it opens the disc in DVD player. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Re: Failed to open
Let the OS first read the disc. Only then start Makemkv.
Re: Failed to open
Thanks for the response. I am not sure what you mean by making sure the OS first reads the disc. The disc shows on my desktop and DVD player reads it and opens up automatically. This always happens first- then I close the player and open MKV. This is the same process I have used in the past with no issue.
I tried with the player still open and got this result...
