Haikyu!! from eBay fails to open

Hello,

I received a box set of Haikyi!! from eBay of the english dub which is nearly impossible to find. It will play in any DVD player, so the discs operate. It also plays in VLC player without issue. I've tried it with my flashed LG blu-ray (LG Electronics WH14NS40 14X Blu-ray/DVD/CD Multi compatible Internal SATA Rewriter Drive, BDXL, M-DISC Support, Black) drive, and get this error.

If I used a regular external DVD drive that comes with a laptop, I get a file which has most of the episodes back to back but it only pulls 13 out of 20 episodes.

I'm wondering if the error message has any details that make sense of the issue. If it's just not going to work with this disc series, not the end of the world. If anyone has any ideas, I appreciate it.

Can you make a backup of the disc with MakeMKV?

On the first screen in MakeMKV, click the icon of the yellow folder with the green arrow. For a DVD, that'll make an .iso file of the whole disc. You can then open that .iso file in MakeMKV and create .mkv files of the various titles on the disc.
