Strange Error Message

Strange Error Message

I have to re-rip my WKRP discs. All basically untouched discs, except for the first time I ripped them.
Now I am getting a strange error message.

MakeMKV BETA Popup - It appears that you are opening the disc processed by DvdFab/MacTheRipper which is known to produce damaged VOB files. Errors may follow - please use original disc instead.

What is that? And why am I getting it when I am opening an original disc? Can DVDFab corrupt files on a DVD?

More often than not, that message appears with bootleg discs.
