I just purchased and the new mkv whenconverting a blu ray movie the files are m2T.the older beta version the files were mkv files which when burned to a data disc would play on a stand alone player anyone know how to convert to play on stan alone player it plays ok on the cpu.I'm using Ashampoo and Power2go burning software

Have you tried OPEN a disk, instead of BACKUP?

If you're getting M2TS files, you clicked on "Backup", rather than the big, disk-shaped button that takes you to generating MKV files.
