I download a movie in mkv

Format………………….: Matroska
File size……………….: 448 MB
Duration………………..: 1h 34mn
Overall bit rate…………: 661 Kbps
Resolution………………: 1280 x 696 pixels
Frame rate………………: 23.976 fps
Audio…………………..: AAC 48000KHz
Audio Language…………..: English
Encoder…………………: ARNT

The Problem I'm facing is, when I play this movie it plays vertically swapped. i.e. A person's feet are move towards sky and his face towards ground.

I have K-lite codecs, and my graphic card can only shows 24bit color.

Any fixes ?

Did the video come from an iPad?

I had a similar problem from a video my brother sent me. Turns out the iPad will actually record it upside-down then put a flag in the file called "Rotation" (which can be seen in MediaInfo)- so it knows to flip it back round again when it's being played. Great - until you want to watch it on something other than an iPad!

The only way I got around this is to load it into a paid-for video editor I have which had a feature available to flip the video.

What do you want us to do for you with a movie that you downloaded?

MakeMKV is for ripping content from a disc.

Again, the MakeMKV forums are for the discussion of MakeMKV, not how to do things with other files.

MakeMKV is used to back up files from video discs, not for changing settings on files that have already been done.
