How to fix out of sync audio track?

Post by Bsmooth »

I just finished redoing the audio track for In Harms Way ,by making the vocals slightly louder. But when I went and put the audio track back by using MkV ToolNix somehow the track is now out of sync with the video.
By using the VC Media player it looks like its about -.300 out of sync with the video. I wasn't sure If the VLC Media player could save the fix somehow, so theres my dilemma. How do you resync it?

MkVToolNix, maybe, in the audio track props? Worth a try...

I thought that was a good idea too, so I tried that , but when I hit multiplier it usually takes forever, but this time went to 100% right away, but no file. What I can't figure out is why. I've done dozen of transfers between Audacity and back again with no problems. Maybe the length of 2:45 hrs?
So I went into the audio file and took out .3 ms near the beginning. But I found it needed .4 ms instead. I'll see If its good tomorrow, my eyes are about ready to pop out of my head at this point.
