No Voice in PCM

Hi. I am new to muxing.
I have an LG TV and its media player does not recognize a number of codecs (e.g. DTS HD or TrueHD). It does recognize PCM, FLAC, and AC3. I would like to stick to using the LG player rather than using something like Plex as it will be easier for the family to use. I prefer lossless audio.
If I use Xmedia to transcode DTS HD or TrueHD audio to PCM or FLAC I cannot hear voices (guessing that is the center channel) 9/10 times. If I transcode to an AC3 file, everything sounds fine, but I want lossless audio.
Is there something dumb I am doing or something someone could please recommend I try? Thank you.
