Is there a setting in MAKEMKV program to keep computer awake while ripping a disc? I know I can disable all that in windows 11, I would still like computer to power down and go to sleep when not being used for this purpose.

Not in MakeMKV, but the Awake utility from Microsoft PowerToys works well from the tray. YMMV

I installed it last night and used timer to turn it off. Did it’s job, just have to remember to do it.

I turn off all the sleep settings and schedule a shutdown or I use handbrake to sleep my computer after it’s finished encoding. There is also switch off which is an free software to schedule shutdowns, if you really want to get advance you can setup software to shutdown when you send the pc and email or you tweet but you can also use a usb mouse jiggler and remove it when you want the pc to sleep or shutdown, they are really cheap
