File not showing in folder after rip

Post by 2WheeledDaydreams »

Hi all,

I have come across a bit of a weird issue, I am ripping a movie where the source file is called:

._t00.mkv

After ripping, the properties of the folder that it is in show that there are items in the folder with the folder size being 34gb, however the items are 0 and the folder is empty. I presume this is a unique naming issue where windows just doesn't accept a file name starting with a dot but as you cant change a file name until after you rip it I am a bit stuck.

Any tips?

Cheers,
Jack

Did you rip Fight Club? Searching for that on this forum will reveal lots of people running into this with that movie.

In any case, turn on Expert Mode in MakeMKV's preferences on the General tab. Then you can change the name of stuff before you rip.
