Fatal error occurred, program will now exit.

I'm getting the following error when saving to MKV: Fatal error occurred, program will now exit. I am using version 1.17.8 and I also tried older versions.

I don't see any messages in the log when this is triggered. The program successfully opens the disk and allows me to select the title I want. It then runs for about 2 min and this error pops up.

I exchanged the disk thinking maybe it was a disk issue but the new one does the same thing. If it matters it is 4k Black Panther.

Does your setup work with other UHDs? DVDs? Regular blu-rays?

Does MakeMKV get the fatal with just this particular disc or all discs?

Yes, it works with all other disc's. Only this disc (both first and replacement copies). It is quite per-plexing.

Forgot to mention that it works with another program so I confirmed the disc and drive are fine. Seems to be something in MakeMKV that is the issue.

I receieved the same error this time for a different movie. Starting to think something is wrong with the install. I did un-install and re-install. I also tried downgrading versions. No luck. Are there issues with Win 11 and MakeMKV?

I went back and tried disc's that previously worked and now they don't. I did try a reg Blu-Ray and it also didn't work.

What is the best way to troubleshoot this?
