WHY IS THERE LIP SYNC ISSUES WITH MAKEMKV RIP???

Hello
I have been ripping some BBC comedy DVDs
Brittas Empire
and a few other DVDs
and there is major issues with lip sync when playing back the MKVs
its about 50ms to 100ms out of sync
if I rip the DVD using other rippers DVDFAB / ANY DVD not lip sync issues, it only with MAKEMKV ???/
I am using the latest version
MAKEMKV 1.15.4
Oh using the latest version of windows 10
any help before I give up with this program will be very very much appreciated
