Can 4k players playback downloaded REMUX hdr mkv files and their lossless audio when burned to a dual layer disc?

I was surprised to find that the usb port for my 4k player was unable to bitstream the DTS-HD MA or TrueHD audio for the mkv files on my external hard drive. I was hoping I could achieve this through a 4k player, because I would rather store files than deal with the bulkiness of disc. Sadly that is not the case.
