BDMV folder playback from VLC
4K UHD Blu Ray playback from a UHD Friendly or Official drive using VLC

I understand that either is possible with additional configuration of the VLC player?

I registered MakeMKV (thank you, Mike!), then checked the "VLC" box on the integrations tab in MakeMKV. This allowed me to play a 4K Bluray directly in VLC.
