Why does not MakeMKV open a disc anymore? What am I doing wrong ?

In your first post if I am understanding it correctly, you are saying your are copying the hash file to your makemkv file. The hash file is supposed to be placed in the MakeMKV data directory. The location of the data directory can be found in the preferences. Just go to view > preferences > general > then you will see what your data directory is. In my case I use G:/Media which is the drive and directory where I store all of my media. You always want to store your preferences and data and hash keys in a different location (drive or directory) since that location will not be deleted when you update the program. In this way, all your file location data and files will survive an update. Check this as it "could" be the reason for your problem. Good Luck

To be a little clearer, what directory and drive is the main MakeMKV program in and what drive and directory is your MakeMKV data stored in? If the two locations are the same, that is the reason you are having the problem.
