Missing 00001.mv

Post by fjr_ski » Sun Feb 01, 2015 2:33 pm

I have processes a copy of a Bluray using MakeMKV software.
Process has finished successfully. However, I have noticed that in the STREAM folder does not include 00001.MKV file. It has 00002. When I click on 00002, it's already past the beginning of the movie.

Can you assist how I can perform a CLONE/COPY of the entire Bluray?

Without the log from the rip, it's very hard to guess what is going on. See the FAQ in my signature for more information.

After doing some research, the original DVD also only has 00002.m2ts, there is no 00001.m2ts.

Is it normal for original DVD not to have 00001.m2ts?
So, after I use MakeMKV software, I go toBDMV>STREAM and when I double lick on 00002.m2ts, the movie plays, but it's not from beginning.

Am I doing something wrong?

I did some more testing.
When I click on the 00002 file on my PC, the movie starts from beginning.

However, when I click on 00002 from my TV media player, it starts from somewhere in the middle of the movie.

Well, after doing some more research, this issue is related to the type of movie title: The Hunger Games, Catching Fire.
