Hi,
Hopefully this will be a quick question and my Subject line will provide easy reference for future searches.
I have a Blu Ray Disc, that I was able to successfully convert to MKV. What I need help understanding is the process and the best software solution to demux the MKV to create the encoded audio files. Plus Demuxing 5.1 and or creating the streams.
I have seen a few software names thrown out, but could not figure out how they worked. Plus being on a mac creates more of a challenge.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Tsmuxer is the only one that I can think of for demuxing and getting the streams into files.
I don't know of anything for splitting up a 5.1 file. Audacity can read AC3 but it will convert it, which takes memory and time.

mkvextract (part of Mkvtoolnix). Command-line only, though.Smithcraft wrote:Tsmuxer is the only one that I can think of for demuxing and getting the streams into files.

I'm fairly certain that both/all of the programs mentioned are only usable on PCs...Plus being on a mac creates more of a challenge.

I'm pretty certain that both are usable in OS X.
I know tsmuxer is usable in OS X, and if Romansh is who I think he is, then I'm sure that mkvextract would work in OS X.
