Blu-Rays ripped with MakeMKV produce extra video stream when encoded to HEVC

I cannot identify what is causing this and I am not suggesting that MakeMKV is the cause but since my Blu-Rays start out as rips from MakeMKV I figured I would ask here.

I use FFmpeg Batch AV Converter to encode all my rips to HEVC. Something I noticed several years ago when I ripped a few Blu-Rays for a trip was that although there is only one video stream in the mkv files that MakeMKV produces there are two in the resulting HEVC file and the second one is very small and of 00:00:00 length in time. This would not be an issue except the presence of this little extra file prevents emby from playing the file until it is removed from the mkv file. Thus every single Blu-Ray rip has to be loaded into MKVToolNix and multiplexed to remove this littel extra file.

I have no idea what could be causing this to happen so I am asking if anyone here has any ideas as this is creating a lot of extra work for me since I have finally started ripping my collection of thousands of discs.

Thanks
